Aynsley currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer at SIMA. She has been with SIMA since 2012, taking on increased responsibilities throughout her tenure. Previously, Aynsley worked in the wealth management and retirement departments as an Investment Wealth Advisor externally with clients. In 2017, she transitioned into the role of Director of Operations where she started working with the SIMA team internally focusing on firm wide operations and team development.
Aynsley is a Virginia Tech graduate. She earned a dual degree in Finance with a concentration in investment management and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Applied Economic Management with a concentration in Certified Financial Planning (CFP). During her time at Tech, Aynsley took on extensive leadership roles and was inducted into Omicron Delta Kappa, a national leadership honor society.
A Richmond native, Aynsley returned to Richmond after attending Virginia Tech. Outside of the office, Aynsley enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, Stuart and their two labs, Harvey and Julep. During the summer months you will find them relaxing at the river.
